Terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the AI Secretary service (the “Service”) provided by GOS Limited (“GOS”, “we”). By starting to use the Service you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. This is a translation for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

1. The Service

With your consent, the Service reads mail, calendar and file data in the accounts you connect, and performs the following on your behalf or at your instruction:

  • Reviewing and summarising your calendar and mail
  • Finding documents and files, and telling you where they are
  • Creating, changing and deleting calendar entries
  • Drafting mail, and sending it once you have approved it
  • Creating and saving files at your instruction

The Service is operated by artificial intelligence, not by a human being. Generated content may contain errors. Please check the content yourself before relying on it for important decisions, external communication, or legal or financial matters.

2. Connected accounts and data handling

The Service accesses your Microsoft 365 or Google account only if and after you connect it. Data is handled as follows:

  • Access takes place solely to provide the Service. We do not store the content of your mail, calendar or files on GOS servers.
  • GOS retains only encrypted access tokens, your contract details, and deliverables such as the morning brief.
  • We never use this data for advertising, never provide or sell it to third parties, and never use it to train artificial-intelligence models. Replies are generated through a commercial AI API whose inputs are not used for training.
  • Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • You can disconnect at any time. On cancellation we destroy the tokens we hold. You may also revoke consent from your Microsoft or Google account settings.

See also our Privacy Policy and Data & security.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You represent and warrant that you are duly authorised to connect the accounts you connect.
  • You are responsible for managing your login details and your connections.
  • Drafts, summaries and entries produced by the Service become final only after your own review.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Any act that violates laws, regulations or public order and morals
  • Infringing the rights of third parties, or attempting to access data you are not authorised to access
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service, or using it by improper means
  • Reselling the Service or letting third parties use it without our prior written consent

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as set out on our pricing page and are payable monthly in advance. Payment is processed through the payment provider we designate. We may revise fees, in which case we will give prior notice.

6. Term and cancellation

The contract term is one month and renews automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month; fees already paid are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

7. Changes, suspension and termination of the Service

We may change the content of the Service or cease to provide it. If we cease to provide it we will, as a rule, give one month’s notice. The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, faults, or changes to external services.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service. Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability for damages is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the month in which the damage arose.

9. Confidentiality

We treat information about you obtained through providing the Service as confidential and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service. Our officers and employees are bound by confidentiality obligations.

10. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. Material changes will be notified in advance by posting on this page or by e-mail.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
