Greetings
Greetings
GOS was founded in July 2015 on a simple idea: closing gaps. Experienced professionals were being passed over for the number of employers on their CV, while companies went short of hands and know-how. We began by bridging the two through operational outsourcing, and have since taken on work for more than fifty companies, roughly half Japanese and half foreign-owned — from accounting and supply chain through to general management itself.
Eleven years on the operating side taught us where we are truly needed. A foreign-owned entity whose back office has hollowed out, so the monthly numbers never reach head office. An owner approaching succession whose critical know-how lives only in his own head. Plenty of people willing to advise — and nobody willing to put their name on the company and answer for the result. What was missing was never advice or headcount. It was a counterpart who takes the responsibility whole, and finishes.
We have done exactly that. In a manufacturing company within our own group, we lifted gross margin from 51% to 66% without stopping the business, and handed it to its next owner in 2025. For a European premium-food group, we went from incorporation through the liquor licence, a trading business and the transfer of the whole company in roughly thirteen months — and still run its back office today.
And the technology changed. With AI carrying the routine work, a deliberately small firm can now run the entire back office of several companies. We run our own daily operations on documented procedures and AI assistants we built in-house; what we sell is that same discipline. We are our own first user.
So in 2026 we redefined the business. We build and rebuild businesses in Japan — then hand them over ready to run, with the management responsibility taken in our name. The broad outsourcing signboard comes down; we commit to the one thing eleven years have proven. The founding idea has not changed — only the gap has grown: from the one between professionals and companies, to the one between the Japanese market and the owners who want a business in it.
Judgement and responsibility carried by name; operations carried by systems. The numbers on your desk every month. No hourly billing, no fixed term, notice only. Start small, verify us — then hand it over.

How we run
We run GOS the way we run your back office
GOS is deliberately small. What lets a company of this size take on the back office of an entire Japan entity is the way we run our own: every routine is written down, every engagement has a defined scope and a monthly review, and the repetitive work — sorting the inbox, preparing schedules, drafting travel plans — is carried by AI assistants we built and use in-house every day, with a person making the decisions.
Nothing about our method is reserved for clients. We are our own first user, and our own numbers are run on the same discipline we sell. When we say a back office can run without depending on any one person, we are describing our own office.

Start by reading one report.
Choose from three: supply chain (inventory, service, forecast), financial (margin, collection, cash) or management review (strategy to this month’s decisions). Each runs to six pages: an eight-KPI summary, three findings with what each one costs, and three next actions. Synthetic data — no client figures — but the structure and the KPI definitions are the ones we use.
